As far as my nesting epidemic goes, here is what I've been working on:
This is the full spread. It doesn't look like much, but I've only been able to work on small bits at a time. My mom and her super sewing capabilities have been a huge help!
These are cloth diaper inserts and liners. They're not very pretty-but I'm hoping they'll do the job. Inserts are made from old receiving blankets and microfiber cloths while the liners/doublers are made from multiple layers from more receiving blankets.
The gold and white striped item is my nursing cover that I'm completely obsessed with. Put on, it resembles this cover. My mom sewed that up for me. I've made two swaddle blankets out of the white gauze, but I still have two more to go. Super easy to do!
The pieces of fleece are just more liners for our cloth diapers and you guys have already seen the tag blankie!
Burp cloths in various sizes! I still have about 6 more to sew up.
My mom and I tag-teamed these reversible bibs! I'm so in love with them! I've got 9 here, so I don't think I'll sew up any more at the moment.
So that's been it! I still have a few larger items to sew up, like my Boppy cover, but I'm slowly getting there.
***If you want tutorials on anything let me know!!! ***
What kind of items did you make for your baby?
Would you rather take the time to sew things up or just purchase them yourself?
