I can't believe that I'm close to my third trimester-which means little London will be here before we know it! I am over-the-moon about it, but still a bit nervous. The thought of taking care of 3 littles is a bit overwhelming, but the thought of going through labor tears my nerves up a bit too.
Granted, I've done this twice already (once without any meds, which is definitely what I prefer) but I still get nervous thinking about it.
Anyways, I'm still strutting alone with trying to get as much of the baby's stuff made as possible, but there's a TON of items that still need to be purchased. Here is what my huge list is looking like right now:
Swaddle Blankets (making)
Baby Carrier (Ergo maybe?)
Nursing Cover (making)
Burp Cloths (making)
0-3 Month Clothes
3-6 Month Clothes
Co-Sleeper (dad is making)
Cloth Diaper Detergent
Bottles (in case)
Robe for the Hospital (this is a MUST)
Umm yeah. All of this of course isn't needed for right when he gets home...but its still a pretty extensive list. Doesn't help that we're pretty much starting from scratch since we got rid of 99.9% of our baby stuff!
Most of what I'm getting is second-hand, so we can save money. The crib won't be on our list to purchase right away, since he'll be in our room for a while. Everything that needs to be made is in the process right now. (Pregnancy fatigue is kicking my tail at the moment)
On top of this? Melody begins homeschooling in the middle of May, as well as trying to get my Spring Cleaning done! It's madness I tell ya!
But truth be told, I'm kinda loving every minute of it ;)
