I have to give a quick shout-out to Jennifer from Raspberry Road Designs. She is the one responsible for my kick-butt design, as well as having the quickest turnaround ever! I purchased on a Friday night, and Tuesday morning my blog was looking beautiful. So definitely check her out. She does great work, and has unbelievable prices for all that you get.
Now, onto baby stuff.
I'm entering month 6 and my anxiety is getting the best of me. We have so much to do to prepare for this little dude, and not a whole lot of moolah.
You see, I didn't think we would be having another baby anytime soon, so I don't have any of my basic stuff anymore. I also don't store baby clothes, I typically consign and turn around and get what my littles now need. It saves us big bucks since they grow so darn fast! I do keep some key outfits from their baby stage for memory-but not enough for London to actually use!
That's okay, Ebay and consignment shops have come to the rescue as far as clothing. I think I'm good on that up to 6 months. I even bought a barely used Boppy for 14 dollars. It's a girl print, but I'm planning on sewing up a cute cover for it. The hubs will be meeting with a guy tommorrow to look at a Sit-n-Stand stroller that's being sold for $40! So that should take care of that.
Oh yeah, and did I mention that I woke up one morning to a Moby wrap on my porch? I still have no idea who blessed me with it-but I was almost in tears at the thought. It was definitely a huge blessing!
We're also cloth diapering this time around in order to save money too. I am really excited about this and I have a friend that's being WAY generous and giving me some of her diapers.
The way God has touched people's heart to help has been crazy and awe inspiring.
The Lord has also placed in me a desire to make as many of my baby needs as I can. So here is what is on my adgenda:
A few upcycled onesies
Car Seat Cover
Long list, eh??? I already have all of my fabric...now its time to get cutting and sewing! My nesting tendencies have been going through the roof-so that's what I'll be up to today!!
