A Blessed Adoption: A Call to Action

I know I said I had a recipe to share with you, but this post is of great urgency! My wonderful bloggy friend Christie, from Satisfaction Through Christ, is needing our help.

As the result of many prayers, her and her hubby have been chosen among many applicants to be the parents of a precious little girl, due in April! This is a HUGE deal! You can read the entire story on her blog, HERE.

They have been waiting for this moment for a long time, and the only thing standing in the way is the dreaded finances. They must raise about $35,000 before they can bring her home. They must have about $12000 of that in about a week!

This is where YOU come in. Remember my last post about BEING Jesus to others? Well, you best believe this is a family that is doing just that. This is not their first adoption! They have a stunning little girl already that they have welcomed into their home. But just as these babies need them, they need us.

I urge you to prayerfully consider helping this family out. You may not know them personally, but that doesn't matter. I know without a doubt that whatever you're able to give, even if it's just a dollar, God will multiply it into what they need. I also know that the Lord will bless you too. We've been called to help one another when they are in need. If you have been looking for God to open a door for your family to bless someone-this may be it! Not able to contribute? Don't worry! Prayer is powerful! Also, if you could spread the word about them to everyone you know-word of mouth is a great tool!

So please, don't let this plea fall on deaf ears. Every dime that is contributed will be going straight to The Hill Family's Adoption Fund. No gimmicks here, people. Just a beautiful family trying to be Jesus to the world.
