If we're friends on Facebook, then you know I have been going completely insane purging and organizing everything in my house.
Seriously, it's been therapeutic. I could honestly do this for a living.
Now, please note that I said that I love to ORGANIZE. The word "cleaning" is not involved, I assure you.
I HATE to clean. Baseboard, laundry, dusting, etc. These things are not my friend. If you come to my house, things my be in place...but please don't come with white gloves.
I couldn't tell you the last time I dusted my ceiling fan, and my windows have little grimy hand prints all over them from the tinys that live here.
I am working on this though. I am still on a journey to LOVE homemaking. Cooking? Yes. Organizing? Yup. Beautifying my home? Of course. Cleaning? Eh. Like I said, I'm working on it.
Speaking of working on it, here is a picture (via Instagram) of my 'new' shelf in my bathroom.
Whatcha think? I put a bunch of my old cameras, including my mom's Brownie one, on there as well as a few vintage mason jars filled with old buttons. The top stop-sign looking picture is the "I stand at the door and knock," painting of Jesus. My grandma hand a larger print of this, so when I saw this picture at a thrift store, I had to snatch it up.
That's all for now. I've gotta get this house cleaned ASAP because we are going to the mountains this weekend!!! I am super excited! AHH!!! An autumn vacation never happens.
