Shake it up.

If you have been following my blog for any length of time, then you know that I have been struggling with this journey to lose weight. 

My issue is not working out-in fact, I rather enjoy working out at least 3 days a week. I do various things such as hooping, the elliptical, yoga, kettle bells, and different DVDs. 

My issue has always been food. ALWAYS.

It's my friend when I feel I am alone. My comforter when I am sad. And the one who gives me a sugary high-five when I am happy.

I am dealing with those issues at the moment. You guys remember my post about Made to Crave? Well I have been asked my my church to lead that group for some the ladies of the church! Super excited! This will be a great way for me to meet people, have accountability partners, AND go through the course again. Cause I need it.

Also, I have decided to do the Challenge. What challenge you ask? The Body by Vi 90 day Challenge!

I am REALLY excited about this. I have hear WONDERFUL things about it. 

It sounds like any other "diet shake" program. But it is much more than that. It's a super yummy nutritional shake that you replace two meals a day with. There are COUNTLESS ways to prepare this shake.

This morning I did two scoops of the Vi-Shake powder
-1 cup of frozen strawberries, blackberries and peaches
-1 tsp flax oil
-10 oz. water

It was just a like a smoothie from Jamba Juice!

This afternoon I did-

-8oz. unsweetened almond milk
-1tsp sugar free cheesecake pudding mix
-splash of pure vanilla extract
-1tsp unsweetened coco powder
-1 packet of stevia (this was unnecessary. The shake was a little too sweet. I'll omit this next time)

It was EXACTLY like a cheesecake milkshake! And I'm full! Plus I haven't been craving any sweets and there is a big thing of brownies on my counters at the moment.

I could go on and on about the wonderous things I have heard about this product.

One guy I met has lost over 70lbs since Oct.! One girl lost 15lbs in 3 weeks WITHOUT working out. (Of course we all know you gotta work out too. Just pointing out how amazing this stuff seems!)

  1. Go you! Tom and I were just watching Dr. Fuhrman on Dr. Oz. I am in looovveee with Dr. Fuhrman. (he's all about eating nutrient dense foods to lose weight) I love his book Eat to Live.

    I'm definitely going to check out this shake though. I am good at sticking to shakes. Sometimes you just need a shake instead of another salad!
