Part of Your World.

Hunger Games party is soooo close! Two more days! I am beyond excited!
As you may recall, I was going to go as Effie Trinket and even dye my hair. Well, dying my hair pink was a complete flop. It just didn't look right on me. So I decided that I would just go to the party as a person from the Capitol. BUT, I had to do something to my hair. I just can't go to a HG party looking anything like normal.
So-

 

Ariel hair it is! I love it!
Good part is the red came out super duper bright. Bad part-I had to bleach it twice to get all of the black out. My hair is not too happy with me at the moment. I have been soaking it the past two days in coconut oil and conditioners. Any other ideas? 
Have you had a bad experience with your hair? How long did it take to get back to healthy?

So what do you think? Yay? Nay?

  2. You can definitely pull it off. I LOVE the color, it looks awesome on you. You should totally stick rhinestones all over yourself and get a cheapo gold eyeliner and do gold tattoos on your eyelids or something!! If I lived closer I would totally invite myself to your party and do those exact things. haha

    1. Also, the coconut oil is definitely a great idea. I think the only extra thing you can do is try to not wash your hair every day. But your hair doesn't look fried at all! The coconut oil must be doing the trick ; ) It's pure magic.

    2. The top of my hair still looks pretty decent. It's drier than before, but not too bad. From the middle of my hair down-uggh. I had to bleach it twice to get the black out-and it doesn't look very good. It's visibly in bad shape. After this weekend I am just going to soak my hair in the coconut oil every day and see what happens. As great as the top looks, its hard for me to get excited when the ends are in such bad shape :(
